candle cracking?

Hi, I was wondering, I made some beeswax votive candles yesterday, I have made lots before but I never had any crack, when I went to take them out of the molds they were craked on top. Does any one know why? And how I can prevent it. Thanks!

did you place them in the freezer before they were done setting?? Sometimes that happens so now I want a day or at least six hours then I place them in the freezer for fifteen minutes and no more cracking.

No, I have never placed my beeswax candles in a freezer, it helps? Thanks!
