Can you use out dated oil?

Would like to know if you can use date expired olive oil? I have 32 oz. that have never been opened and the date is expired by 2 months. Can I still use it or is it a lost cause? TIA for any info.

hi sonja,
personally, i wouldn't use it in soap for buying customers, or soap that you're planning to give away. You never know if they turn rancid, i know from people it happened to their soap; i't not a good advertisement :wink:

I agree. Maybe you can use it for yourself, but I would never pass this on to a friend or a customer.
