Can oat bran be used for anything?

I was at the health store buying from the bulk bins. I bought oat bran by accident, I don't need it. But can it be used in making anything? As an exfolient maybe?

I use oat bran instead of oatmeal in soap - I use about 9% of the total oil weight. EG - If I am making a batch that has 1000g of oils, I will add 90g of oat bran at trace.

Bran makes a gentle abrasive soap that's great for people with sensitive skin.
