Hi , instead of the hassle of citric acid plus extra Naoh / Koh . Can I use sodium citrate directly in the same % . ? I found a few on Amazon. I live in a very hard water area. Doneed EDTA/ citric acid . Thank you in advance

I use sodium citrate myself at 2% of oils. It is best to dissolve in a bit of warm liquid before adding lye. I don’t have hard water, but many of my soap users do.
 
Your (same) question was answered in the link lsg posted above. Yes, you can use sodium citrate and many of us do. I buy sodium citrate in powder form, not in solution. I usually use powdered sodium citrate at a rate of 1.5% of total oil weight, dissolved in part of the batch water (warmed) and stick blended into the oils before adding the lye solution.
