What are you useing as a mold?

I put all my M&P in the freezer for about 10 -20 minutes. The soap & the mold will begin to freeze causing the soaps to shrink just a tad. Then after you take them out of the freezer, the mold will expend before the soaps does alowing for an easier release. For difficult molds like popsicle shapes, hold a hair dryer to the bottom of the frozen mold & it should pop out pretty easy.

If you grease the molds, the grease will bead up & the surface of your finished soap will look like it has checken pocks.

I do hot process and cold process soap, and I also use the freezer trick. Just pop them in for a bit and tap them on the counter to release them.

P.S. save the "lubricant" for other projects....

I have used Vaseline to lubricate my molds. That, along with popping the soap in the freezer for a bit should help with release from molds.
