Can I premix lye water

I've tried to find previous posts on this but can't up empty.

I was wondering if I can premix my lye water a day or two ahead of when I need it and, if so, how I re-heat it if that's even necessary.

I'm thinking it would save time when I'm ready to get my oils and fat together.

Yes, you can. As @artemis said, search master batch lye/ masterbatch lye. A ton of posts will come up. No need to re-heat the lye, in fact that can be very dangerous. Just be sure to weigh it right after mixing and again before using in case there was any water evaporation, you can replace it so you have the same concentration of water/lye you want to work with.

It’s commonly called “master batch”. Once the lye solution is cooled, put it in an airtight container until you are ready to use it.

No need to re-heat.
