I am having trouble finding a true primary red colorant for cold process soap. Can anyone please recommend some good ones and where I might find them? Thanks so much for your help.

Amy Warden from Great Cakes recommends Red Lake Dye #30 or Tomato Red from Nature's Garden.

From a Soaping101 video I got that to get a perfect red, you should mix 3 parts Electric Pink mica to one part Red Vibrance mice.

From another video that I can't remember who made, I seem to recall the person mixed a hot pink with a dash of merlot mica to get a really nice red.

Red Liquid colour and Australian red reef clay mixed together. I buy my supplies here in Oz.

Relle, you could make a fortune supplying us with your reds, they are always so gorgeous. Anything more than red liquid color you can tell us?
