I made borax soap -- credit to @earlene -- and used double-strength coffee as my lye liquid. When I made it, it was dark brown. When I cut it, I was surprised at how much it had lightened up. It may be psychological, but I can still smell the burnt coffee lye solution and am hoping it disappears. I scented with marjoram, bergamot, and cedarwood essential oils. Exfoliants are poppy seeds, coffee grounds, shredded loofa, and sea salt. Nothing fancy, except the tops. I'm bad at tops so am chuffed about this top even tho' it made drag marks in the cut.
