What is the difference between the both? I've been doing a bit a research and I can't seem to figure out the difference between the both.

I recently purchased shea butter body cream, and was hoping to make some body butter with it. Is it possible to do this with the cream I got? As well as, could someone please point me to a nice body butter recipe?

Thanks,
Michelle

depends on whom you ask.

to US, body butter means butters & oils and no water, but in the commercial B&B world body butter means a very thick cream used on the body (not just the hands).

Lotion is generally thinner.

I don't know what you mean making body butter from cream...

carebear: I purchased of bucket of pre-made shea butter body cream.

I just realized that it's the same ingredients as lotion...hahaha. And here I thought I was getting something totally different.
