Black Pepper EO?

Hi All,

Black Pepper EO has piqued my interest recently. I'm thinking of buying some and trying some blends. Anyone used it recently? Does it speed trace? Any particular blends that you like?

I've tested it but not used it apart from that so can't recommend blends.
To my surprise, it significantly *slowed* acceleration. My notes indicate that the sample was still soft 2 days later, although I believe it hardened up properly after that.

Yep, the sample is looking good, nice and white and hard. The small is not particularly strong but still detectable in the dry sample, the sweeter notes are coming to the fore and it smells expensive/luxury.

I used it in wedding favor soap for my daughter seven years ago - I love the scent OOB but it wasn’t that pronounced in the soap. It was with cardamom EO. I can’t remember if I had anything else in the blend.
