Is Palm oil considered a hard oil? The palm I use is sort of liquid and hard - kind of reminds me of large cottage cheese curds.

Palm oil is considered a solid oil, but can melt in warm temps. Where did you get your oil from?
I got some shea butter and it looked like cottage cheese compared to what I was use to.

Colmbus Foods. Temps have been warm here, but even my 76 Coconut is more solid than the palm I just got. I can't pour it, but it is hard to scoop it, too, without it falling out of the spoon.

Yea that's where I got my shea butter. They have really good prices but I don't like the texture of their products. I was use to getting a hard creamy shea and then I ordered from them and got cottage cheese. Nothing wrong with it though. Maybe others will come along and give their experience with Columbus Foods.
