Best Way To Make a Dark Blue?

I'm considering doing a night sky themed soap, and was wondering if anyone had an suggestions on how to make the best dark blue.

I don't really want to do black because enough black to be really black seems to always make grimy looking bubbles.

Nurture has a great dark blue called Klein blue. That and a little black might be nice.

The girls are right. But don't worry about it being UM if you don't have any; use any blue in your collection. I've had luck with others, even those bluer than sky. Follow your instincts on the AC; a little goes a long way!

I just made a soap using Nurture's Klein Blue and Pearl Black micas. It worked out well. Whatever you use for black, just add a teensy amount at a time.

Indigo! works great for me, dark midnight blue! or just indigo blue.

I love indigo, a little goes a long way. This site is for fabric dying, however, the indigo is darn good. I havent bought others, yet.

Yes, this is where I get mine. I have enough for a lifetime or several. 1/8 tsp will color a 2 lb loaf medium blue.
