Good afternoon soapers! I am currently using a Red Pigment Liquid Dispersion from Aussie Soap Supplies which has currently been placed on hold due to transport delays with Covid. My red pigment is running up and am looking for a similar red liquid dispersion that is non bleed for my M/P soaps. Are there any great true Red Pigment dispersions out there? Many thanks all for your recommendations! :) x

Mica is your best option. But color migration in MP soap is a problem with all colorants. Many pre-made (liquids) use synthetic dyes and food dyes as the colors. Those will bleed/migrate almost every time. Some micas will bleed or migrate but generally don't.

Todd, I used white mica for a clear base MP then inserted heart MP embeds that were colored with different colored mica. They looked great for the 1st 2 weeks, then turned purple on me. Is there a certain type of mica to use?
