Here's some more whining for you. I'm trying to find the best colorants to use in my products. I've found the color chips seem to work well for soaps, (but are expensive), and water-based dye works great in mists, BUT it doesn't work well at all in soaps/salts, etc. It's weak, the color is weak, and you have to use a ton of it to get a decent color.
I've always loved the deep, rich hues, and yet I can't seem to find a dye that will give me that. CP soap makers seem to be able to get a wide variety of rich colors. Any tips?
