Can I use a normal wick in beeswax and coconut candles? I made a tester and the candle didn’t stay lit :(

beeswax is a very hard wax so would need a very large wick to be able to burn correctly.
Not sure what you mean by "normal" wick, as there are a LOT of different types of wicks, i.e., cotton core wicks, zinc core wicks, flat braid wicks, etc., on top of that there are many different sized within each type of wick.

similarly with coconut candles, coconut wax is a very soft wax so would need a small wick to be able to burn correctly.
If it's a mix of the two, just testing different wicks would be your best.
