Beard wash

I think I know the answer to this but can you develop a bar soap for beards or are beards PH like our hair on our heads?

Not really - lye based soap will always be alkaline. You could make a synthetic detergent bar which isn't alkaline. Some people still do formulate shampoos using lye based soap, although many people have had bad experiences.
