BB Black Amber Lavender-Not liking this

I used BB's Black Amber Lavender in M&P using the FO calculator. It is too much. The Amber is overpowering. Now I have this bottle of the Black Amber and I want to use it, but I need to tone down or balance the amber with another base note. Any suggestions? The lavender scent is lost inside the amber.

Add a lavender EO and cut the FO down.

I'm not a huge fan of amber so probably wouldn't love the original scent either but I had the same thought as Steve - add extra lavender to see if that helps. Or you could use something else altogether different like patch EO, grass FO or mint EO. Let us know what works as I'd be very interested to hear!
