Hello,
I wonder if anyone knows the SAP value of bay laurel fruit oil.I just want to make some soap from that oil,but I cannot find the saponification value for it.Thanks in advance...

if you belong to the Whisk I'd ask there. I've seen some discussion of it on that forum.

wish I could help more, but that's not an oil that we can even GET in north america :(

see...I live in antalya ,Turkey;and it is the mediterranean climate here.So Bay Laurel trees are everywhere here.I do not know if you are interested in growing but you can try it if the climate allows.I can help with the seeds.;) Thanks

oh that would be fantastic! My growing zone is 7a if that means anything to you - which I believe means that I might be able to grow some. I have to see what sort of humidity and soil they like. what a very kind offer!

I'll bet we have some california members who might do better with it.
