So I started using the wilton color right performance system which makes such vibrant colors in the bombs, turns the water a great color without dying your skin or the tub. I like it a lot, but I'm running into a problem I didn't even think about. I have red and green bath bombs for christmas... once I drop them in the tub... well red + green = yuck

Have you guys really taken this into consideration? If so what are your thoughts?

I do red & white or green & white. If you want to mix complimentary colors without getting icky bathwater colors, try buying sprinkles of the opposite color. I like the bigger flower/circle/bar/whatever ones. They just dissolve without leaving contributing their color.

ETA: if you just want a small amount of a complimentary color, you can add *very* little of it using mica. Mica won't color the bathwater, but it can stick to the tub so a light hand is necessary.
