Batch No. 11, Swirling in shallow mould

Well I'm up to batch no. 11 now and did a swirl in a shallow mould. I like the way it turned out. The recipe I used is 9% Apricot Kernel Oil, 24% Coconut Oil, 32% Olive oil and 35% Palm oil.
I'm also trying to find the perfect recipe. So far I can only test batch nos 1 and 2 after curing, which are great. These were the ones made with Lard. I'll be gradually testing the other soaps as they are getting ready.
If anyone can suggest a really good recipe, please let me know.

It takes time to determine what recipe works best on your skin in your situation. Climate and all kinds of other factors impact how well a particular soap works for each of us.

Very nice swirls - you've come a long way since your first few tries!

If you have access to castor oil, I'd use that at 5% and reduce the CO by the same amount.

I too am working on the perfect recipe going on 3 years now. A lot comes down to your personal preference. Take good notes. The recipe feedback thread here may be a good place to start too.
