Tried the soap recipe I asked for feedback on a few days ago. Lard, coconut oil, avocado oil and mango butter. Mad Oils peacock blue and here comes the bride mica and BB's black pigment. Used BB's White Tea and Ginger FO.

I love the drops. I've been trying to get that effect (unsuccessfully). Are you keeping notes from each batch?

Yes, I have an Evernote account (thanks to whoever suggested that! Teresa, I think?) Frankly I just poured when my batter was not quite at trace, from about 6 inches to a foot above the mold, alternating colors.

White base first, then some black, then the blue, then what was left of the white, then blue again and the rest of the black. I really didn't do anything special, all things considered, but it did turn out lovely!

Your designs are the soaps I want to do....Instead of what I actually end up doing haha Great stuff.

Ironically, I am incredibly uptight about my artwork (painting and drawing) to the point where I'm occasionally frozen into inaction for fear of screwing it up, even though I've got plenty of supplies to do stuff over and over.

Soap? Don't have that problem. I just poured. It's weird! Maybe because it doesn't have the same 'ugly baby' stage a piece of artwork has.
