Can you please answer these questions because my SBing is so erratic I am not sure of the answers.

Does goat's milk speed up a batter?
If so would 50% goat's milk speed it less than 100% goats milk?

Does salt added to the water speed up batter?

Does citric acid speed up batter?

Shea butter speeds up batter, is that right?

Thank you very much.

Salt does, and sugar has for me, I have not noticed any acceleration with citric acid at all, and the shea batch behaved pretty well for me, but I wont swear to that one.

eta: Milk has sugars in it, thats why I mentioned it

If you soap too cool GM can thicken your batter quickers. If you keep it on the warm side I have no issues. Shea does speed it up, especially if using a high percentage. I don't usually use more than 7% and again as long as the oils are warm enough no problems. I can't speak to citric acid as I keep forgetting to use it.
