banana soap?

I'm considering trying banana baby food in some salt bars tomorrow and was wondering if it causes any issues like over heating? or if brings anything to the soap to even bother?

There are recipes out there for banana facemasks. Not too sure what would survive soaponification though

Thanks Carolyn. What color can I expect in the finished soap? I expect it to be a light tan?

I did a soap where I pureed banana with evaporated milk and used that to replace 1 half of my water. I really couldn't tell a difference.

Mine came out a light tan with the baby puree. Like Dixiedragon I did not find it brought anything to the party. I use it at times when I have overripe bananas that I do not want to throw away and we simply do not need banana bread in my house

I think I'll skip the banana this time. I'm using hemp for the first time and really want to see if it adds anything.
