I have a customer request for a soap scent based on an English dessert called a Bakewell tart.

Unfortunately, I don't know what those smell like, beyond a written description. I know that the pastry includes almonds and is sweet.

So I ask you, particularly any of you who have eaten Bakewell tart, what's a good sweet/pastry sort of almond FO or EO?

Some that I've been considering based on descriptions/reviews are below. If you have any experience with these, I'd love to hear it.

Thanks!
Eric

I absolutely adore bakewell tarts. They taste like marzipan with a sharp cherry jam (jelly to ppl in the U.S.) and have a pastry base. If you could find a marzipan fo and mix it with a small amount of vanilla and cherry, you would be pretty close.
