Hi all,

Just a quick one, just had a wonderful soaping marathon:p, made 4 batches this afternoon (which is a marathon for me)!!!

I want to avoid gel in the last batch that I have just finished. I have it in the freezer now, but how long should it stay there? Should I transfer it to the fridge in a couple of hours? How long should it remain in the fridge?

I havent tried to avoid gel before so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I leave mine in overnight, then thaw for a day, then leave it in the mold for a few more days or until it firms up enough to cut. I am impatient though and find this process too long so I tend to encourage gelling.

Thanks Cara and Tiffany. I would usually be far to impatient not to gel but I've got 3 big soaps and 8 minis that I can look forward to unmoulding in the morning, so I thought I'd give it a try!!!
