Canadian Members of The Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild now have access to affordable Product & Liability Insurance! This insurance is brokered by Veracity Insurance Solutions and underwritten by Lloyds of London. The cost is $100 for membership and $400 (Canadian) for insurance per year. (there is a 12% tax in Ontario and British Columbia added on to the cost of insurance)
Coverage includes soap, bath and body products and candles sold both in Canada and the United States:
$2,000,000 General Aggregate Limit
$2,000,000 Products-Completed Operations Aggregate Limit
$1,000,000 Personal and Advertising Injury Limit
$1,000,000 Each Occurrence Limit
$300,000 Damage to Rented Premises Limit
$5,000 Medical Expense Limit
