It's not a musical! Much more realistic. I'm really liking it (though I still expect a song every once in a while LOL)

Wouldn't miss it! Any version of Les Miserables is a Must Watch in my book. I have the series recording on my DVR, but haven't watched the first episode yet.

My first viewing of Les Miserables was at the ACT in San Francisco many many years ago. But before that I read the book. I really should go back and read it again. I just went to the tomb of Victor Hugo at the Catacombs in France last year. It was the one 'cemetery' stop I insisted on this trip. My husband is not one for visiting cemeteries, even ones so wrought with history, but he ended up fascinated, so I was glad I insisted.

I've never seen any version of Les Miserables, (nor have I read the book) however, I have this one recording in my DVR. I'll watch once all episodes have recorded and then will binge watch.
