I would love to be part of one! Even though it is way early, I think it would be fun to do a Christmas soap swap. Maybe the swap could include instructions on how the soap was made, to give people ideas.

That would be fun - it's getting close to time to start working on holiday products.

How do these work? I would love to test others and get some feedback on my own. Are there any restrictions on who participates?

I wanted to do a salt bar swap but I can't host the swap myself and never did find someone else to host it. I really want to participate in a swap, someone please host!

I would host one but according to the rules I don't qualify.
I think doing one for newbies like me and sending the soaps we make to an experienced soap pro( or soap pro group/team) for feed back on how our soap turned out and what we could improve on would be fantastic:p. I guess it wouldn't be a true "swap" per say but similar. Kinda like a teacher grading your papers like when we were in school type of thing. Anyways, it's just an idea I had but one I would be willing to pay a small entry fee for to compensate the "soap teacher/team".

Thanks for posting, Hazel. Should have searched the stickies before posting. Sorry.

I would love a salt bar swap.

Sorry Merryn - under the rules you don't qualify. Unfortunately you haven't been active in the forum for over 9 months.

    3) SMF encourages active membership and require a minimum of (100) posts & (3) months membership before participating in a swap, posting any sale, trade, co-op, pre-buy, fast buy, garage sale, ad or other similar transaction.

Just want to say that I am very interested in participating in a swap as well! It's been so long since I've done one!

Might be a little late for a Halloween theme but those are fun!
