I have been cleaning my store room today & I found a little something something that I am not useing but had a pretty good idea of who would really like to have the item. I tucked it into an envelope, slapped a 41 cent stamp on it & the mail man carried it off.

****Light bulb****

What if we did a Secet Santa event? What if those who were intrested sent me their adresses, and I mix those addresses up & send an address & a name back out to each partsipant. Then it would be your job to send treats to your person on Nov 15, Nov 30, Dec 15 & Dec 30.

The items would not need to be expensive or fancy. It could be 2 handmade Christmas blank cards, a 1/2oz of poppy seeds, a geat bar of soap, a special bookmark you found at Barnds & Noble, etc.

On Jan 5th we could announce who we were sending our items to.

I know this is not a new idea, but it could be fun.

If there are enough people intrested inths, we can work together to determine price limits. We would also want to keep a thread running so people can post when they get their items.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

OK, gotta get back to cleaning :oops: ....

Altho I'm new, I think this would be great fun - so count me in.
Is the plan to try to have the items arrive by those dates, or sent on those dates (just so I can plan ahead).

Lets wait & see if we can get at least 10 people interested & then I will set the rules & dates a little firmer.

The post marks would give it away smarty pants-LOL. I had been thinking about that too. On huge forums it works because there are *so* many people it could still be anyone.

I dunno, it was worth a try.
