I know never to touch CP soap with anything aluminum. But my question is -- what about with melt and pour? I am guessing because you are working with already cured soap and there is no lye you are actually working with so I presume it is safe. What I am trying to do is use a cake pan, which is aluminum for a melt and pour project. I plan to line with parchement paper. This should be safe to do, correct?

I avoid letting any soap directly contact metal if reasonably possible. Your parchment paper should be enough of a barrier, however.
