I’ve been doing a dual lye shave soap that works well but have a question on adding honey. I’m already doing 10% glycerin per pound but was wondering what a good honey starting point would be? Thanks!

I would start fairly low. Sugars in soap help to get some big bubbles going on, which isn't necessarily what we want in shaving soap (creamy lather instead of bubbly lather)

I would look at 0.5% of the oil weight to start with, at most!

Thanks. I put honey in most of my bar soaps for the bubble effects. Wondered how honey would be in shave soaps.
