My Newest Rescue. This one lost the tip of its tail, for Houdini the barbarian. If this keeps up I am going to have to start selling these guys since they all have to have their own tanks.

Houdini is just a beast. You can't keep babies together? What about females?
I can only keep them together if they are the same age. I tried that with Lucky at a 3-week difference and the newborn disappeared, so I am guessing Lucky ate it. These Peacocks are brutal when anything is smaller than them. Females can sometimes stay together but sex is not apparent until around 8-12 months of age. As of now, I have the baby in a deli cup in the big tank to keep it warm, hoping it does not stress out with mom and dad in there, although so far they have not gone down to the cup. Looks like I might need to start selling some of these guys.
