I need a new scale. The adaptor is $10 extra and I have a bag of left-over AC adaptors. Does anybody have an Escali? Can you tell me what kind of adaptor it is or can you take a pic so I can see if I have one? Thanks.

I don't have that scale, Dixie, but here's a link to the official Escali adapter with a good closeup pic of the adapter and the plug that connects to the scale. It has an output rating of 9 VDC (volts DC) and 300 mA (milliamps).

You should be able to look at your chargers and see if you have one with a similar plug and is also rated at 9 volts and at least 300 mA. The charger has to be 9 VDC -- you can't go higher or lower on that -- but the charger can have a higher current (mA) rating and be OK. You could use a 9 VDC charger rated at 400 mA for example.
