Advice in keeping the scent in a cp loaf

I only use eo's do you think it will be more beneficial if I skipped the gel phase and stuck the loaf in the fridge? I would like the eo to smell stronger and I use .5 per lb. Also i dont want to get a ring in the center? Advice please?

Suppressing gel might preserve more of the scent but IME the main thing that compromises fragrance is the lye itself, not the temperature.

You could also try HP and add the EO after cook. Saponification is complete then and it won't affect your fragrance. You can use half as much with HP.
