I have rebatched a soap that ended up with too much peppermint e.o. That was a painful experience but did tame down the soap. (Live and learn.) Since then I haven't thought much about scent with rebatch.

Now I have a Christmas scented one that accelerated so quickly that I ended up with little pockets of unmixed dye. I wondered if I should add any additional scent to make sure it comes through the rebatching process. (It is an evergreen-type Christmas one.) Any experience? Ideas? Should I add a bit more?

I tried a search but am dealing with "issues" in both hands/arms. So I am not able to stay on the computer for long. So I was only able to get thru 2 of my finds.

I would hesitate to rebatch a soap that contained pockets of lye. I always add my scent or EO after the cook when the soap has cooled a little.
