adding coffee to soap and wild turmeric

can i use wild turmeric for color and fragrance to my soap recipe.
Also i have seen a video in which they used water and coffee powder and froze it and they called it coffee oil.then they used the frozen coffee ice cubes and added lye flakes to prepare the lye solution.Here iam talking about using distilled water only.
In india we make filter coffee by adding hot water to coffee powder and get the solution.can i boil the distilled water and pour it into coffee powder then freeze it and use for preparing lye solution

You can infuse turmeric into an oil. I would use dried to infuse. Then use the infused oil in your soap for color. However, you won't get any scent from it. You can freeze coffee and add your lye slowly to it for your lye solution.
