I've been reading, reading and more reading about making soap but have yet to make any. I want to start out with a small batch in case I don't like it I won't be out too much.
I want a moisturizing soap with a good lather. I'm allergic to soybean and cottonseed so don't want to use those. I have sweet almond and coconut oil already.
I'd like to add a little beeswax but don't know where I can substitue it since I'm a newbie. Maybe a little honey if it wouldn't make it sticky or be too much. This is the recipe I have in mind.
13 oz. olive oil
1 oz coconut oil
1 oz palm oil
4 oz distilled water
2 oz lye
Can someone tell me how to add beswax to this recipe?

Beeswax

Barb, I really appreciate your reply. My question may have sounded dumb but not for someone who's never made soap before.
