Accelerated trace

Can someone help with this recipe? Traced way to fast.
Almond 15%
Mango butter 15%
Coconut 35%
Castor 3%
Olive 32%
I had a 6% superfat
Soaped at 118, which Im thinking was too hot. Any othrr suggestions?

I had already done a large batch of this soap and it had done fine the first time. Only difference was about 10 degrees. Would that make all the difference?

Maybe. CO is high at 35% and that can move things along a bit at high temps. But maybe look at other differences such as additional stick blending or a different fragrance that accelerated?

Yes, the temperature of your oils/butters and lye solution can make a difference. So can stick blending and what scent (FO/EO) you use.

If you are new to soap making, it is a good idea to start with smaller batches of soap (unscented/uncolored) until you get used to the process and know how your recipe behaves.
