I'm new to the board as well as new to the whole soap making concept. I've been lurking the board for a while now and finally decided to break down and join. I do have a question though: I keep seeing abbreviations like FO and EO and stuff. Can someone fill me in on what all these things mean?

Here are a few of the basics:

FO: fragrance oils
EO: essential oils
CP: cold process
HP: hot process
M&P: melt and pour
B&B: bath and body

Anyone want to help me continue the list?

AO= Animal Oils
AVG = Aloe Vera Gel
CB = cocoa butter
CM = Coconut Milk
CMP coconut milk powder
CO = Coconut Oil
EO = essential oil
EVOO = Extra Virgin Olive Oil
FLO = Flavoring Oil
FO = fragrance oil
GM = goats milk
OO = Olive Oil
OM= Oatmeal
PKO = palm kernel oil
SAO = Sweet Almond Oil
SB = Shea Butter
CPHP = Crock Pot Hot Process
CPOP = Cold Process/Oven Process
DBHP = double boiler hot process
DHHP = direct heat hot process

A couple more, not exactly refering to soap but might be useful on the forum

IFNO = In frantic need of
IMO = in my opinion
IMHO = in my humble opinion
IMNSHO= in my not so humble opinion
