I want to start hp soap making. Is 2 Quart Crock-Pot good for small batch soap ? It is only $9.96 at Walmart.

I use my 2 quart pot for my one pound soap mold and it works fine. I wouldnt go over that amount because of the possibility of volcanoes. You want space to stir them down.

For bigger batches I use a 5 Quart

Check your thrift stores. I have found several in good condition there.
