100% Avo Soap

I just used a 100% AVO soap that I made 5 yrs ago. I remember not liking it in the beginning but I refused to toss the batch. I have a horrible stubborn rash and decided I needed a plain fragrance-free soap and found this bag of AVO soaps in one of my crates. This soap is Fantastic and has no DOS after all these years. This was soaped with Vinegar and EDTA, not my normal EDTA/SG combination. I did know from the get-go that these bars became better with a long cure like 100% OO soaps, which I hate, btw, but these are wonderful.

Did you add any sorbitol or sugar for lather? or any other additives?

It was before I was using Sorbitrol so yes I used sugar. I TBS to 50 oz oils, with no other additives other than the extra NaOH to compensate for the vinegar.

Give it at least a 1 year cure or you will have 0 lather, but it is nice on the skin.
