    Can a mica or oxide affect trace?

    I have used clays and other organic ingredients to color my soap in the past. I wanted to branch into using micas and oxides. My first attempt totally seized and ruined my design. So I need all the tips I can get on working with colorants.

    It Worked!

    Yes!! I unmolded my second attempt at a dual soap (CP and M&P) bar. This time it worked! The next step will be to cut it and drizzle it with "honey" (clear M&P coloured with a bit of yellow/gold). Honeycomb by Misschief posted Feb 4, 2018 at 6:52 PM

    Mixing Soaps CP and MP

    What would be needed to make a CP Embed and get it to sit correctly in a Semi-transparent MP soap? Do I spray rubbing alcohol on the embed or what gets it to set correctly? Oh, and how do I get TiO2 to turn Goat milk CP soap pure white instead of and off-white/tan color?
