    More water?

For a kilo batch of oils I used 15 drops of red CP colour and 5 drops of blue. Make the mistake in the blue one in colouring the oil, so I put too much in. Much better when I coloured the batter in the pink one.

    More water?

After all the information I received, thank you all, I made this soap at 30% lye solution and crop, for a gell. Don't know if I needed to do this at that percentage of lye, but I did anyway. Nice translucent soap.

just made a batch of soap with only 30%water in a almost all hard oils. Yes, now I know how fast it can set up!! I haven't made soap for about 6 months, and I rushed the thought process, only thinking to lessen the chance of soda ash. Well, that side of it worked, but it made me think of...

    What to add to cedarwood

I love the smell of cedarwood(Virginian), I'm making some wax tarts and have added some grapefruit EO. Not right though, need something else, or ditch the grapefruit and add another citrus. Any suggestions ? Or should I be looking for a different group of aroma?

    Sanctuary spar UK smell

Don't know if they sell this product in the USA, but I love this smell of body products. I'd love to make some body butter using essential oils to replicate this smell. Anyone have any idea? Or is there any UK suppliers who sell a perfume dupe?

Neem oil, which EO is a good match

These all sound great. I think I'll split the batch and try two types. I'm going to put some tumeric in one half. I'll let you know what the smell is like. However, I've bought this neem from a UK supplier called soaping kitchen and I have to say that it smells grassy and earthy and not so...

    Weighed my oils wrong!,

Must have weighed my oils wrong because I had too much batter for my mould. Now I have a soap which is too soft to cut. What should I do? Leave it for months and see what the lather will be like(mega super fatted) Re batch?(don't know how much lye to add) Cut for imbeds Would...
