I'm glad your first batch went so well, OP. there are controversial opinions on curing times. But, four weeks is a good round number. Yes, you have to wait, but you can always slice a bar into sample sizes, and try them out, at one week, two weeks, etc, so you can see for yourself what feels right.

Yes, a great tip I found here is to put your mold into the freezer before you start soaping. Then pull it out just before you pour your mold, and put it right back in the freezer. Then keep it there, like VanessaP said, for at least 24-48 hours. Then keep in mind that it will be even another...
