    yet another label prototype

It's going to be your label, so personalize it, make it as you like it. If it's crowded, I will believe it's not going to be more crowded than Dr.Bonner's soap labels, they include also verses from the bible and other things that has nothing to do with soap. So follow your heart and play with...

Problems with CP soap with Lard

Yes you can, if you have a slow cooker just put it in the cooker without water, and proceed as you will do with HP soap. I rebatch a few like this and the result is wonderful, beautiful and smooth soap. Don't forget to test your soap when it's done, with phenolphtalein or with the tool most of...

    Soy Wax Users

KiwiMoose.....finally yesterday I made your recipe, the used method was at room temperature. It was a big surprise for me as I expected to trace almost immediately and instead it was fluid and manageable. I stick blend just to emulsify, then with spatula and sometimes with stick blender but not...

    Soy Wax Users

Hi Earlene, I been busy with my nephew school, just saw your message, sorry about the delay in answering. I tried to make a super creamy soap, the beer helps with that but also the soap is softer and dissolves faster, so I thought of adding the soy wax it will help with the hardness as well the...

You have to try it, it is not as difficult as it looks and it is very rewarding when you see the end result, same as crochet and knitting.

    Soy Wax Users

Do you mind to share the percentage of soy wax is working for you? Normally I spray with alcohol the tops of my soaps as soon as I pour it in the mold to avoid the ash, as well sometimes I just covered the top with "Saran wrap" (polyethylene food wrap) and also works for me.

    Lard V no Lard

I still have the first soaps that I made with lard in 2010, at that moment I did not use any additives as I have not idea about "chelating agents" for hard water, my poor husband always complained that with my soaps, the shower was always left with a mark. The SF for those soaps was 8% and 10%...
