I hate spiders!! but I love your soaps... my favorites are the plain ones, love the colors!! I have to give a chance to the felt soaps, I have never tried it because it seems very intimidating, that's why I respect and congratulate so many beautiful creations.:)

You have to try it, it is not as difficult as it looks and it is very rewarding when you see the end result, same as crochet and knitting.

Do you mind to share the percentage of soy wax is working for you? Normally I spray with alcohol the tops of my soaps as soon as I pour it in the mold to avoid the ash, as well sometimes I just covered the top with "Saran wrap" (polyethylene food wrap) and also works for me.

I still have the first soaps that I made with lard in 2010, at that moment I did not use any additives as I have not idea about "chelating agents" for hard water, my poor husband always complained that with my soaps, the shower was always left with a mark. The SF for those soaps was 8% and 10%...
