There's really not much to lubricate with as most oils will saponify. It's really just a matter of seasoning your pvc and patience. Freeze it for several hours and as it's thawing it will sweat. That is the right time to begin trying to get it to pop out-it still takes a bit of force.

Or if you don't want to masterbatch- start your lye first thing, then measure oils, eos for fo's get colorants ready etc. usually by the time I get all of this done my lye is usually close.

Whew! That was an ordeal but, I finally got things working again.

Lavender/Mint Finally, after a horrible run of some funky batches with a formula I have been using for months- success. I ended up having to revamp my formula to solve the problems I was having but, now life is good once again.
