    thecandlemakerstore.com

Got my order today. It’s not what I’m looking for. :(

That's good to hear. Do you find their EO's strong enough to use a half ounce to one ounce per pound of oils? Some of the feedback and reviews I've seen suggests up to 6% usage. If the scent is that weak that's just a deal breaker for me. What are your favorites? I'm looking for a good...

They say all fo's are soap safe. Has anyone ordered from them for cold process soap? Some of the reviews on their facebook page are pretty bad. My local supplier went out of business and along with her went some of my best selling fragrance oils. :( I'm looking for a new avenue. I've...

    Selling supplies?

I noticed the members ad forum has slowed down considerably since I used to frequent the forums. Is there another place with more traffic? A Facebook buy, sale, trade group perhaps? Thanks

    Immersion/stick blender choice

I have used the same stick blender for nearly 8 years and just in the last few months I have been getting awful bubbles in my soap batter :(

Finding or making the perfect flexible hold gel.....

I've tried everything coming and going and can't seem to find a truly FLEXIBLE hold hair gel. I have straight fine hair and I like to use a curling wand to get some nice waves. Nothing I've used has held up. Hair looks good for about 15 minutes or it's just too crunchy looking :( Soooooo...

    Hair conditioning oils

Liquid silk? That sounds like something I would like to try. I've attempted to use the silk powder mixed with water and conditioner but it did not dissolve, ended up clogging and ruining the pump on the spray bottle.

    Is it a big mistake?

I agree with everyone else. Your soap will be fine. It may be a tad brown when fully cured but it will be fine.

    Best selling scents

Bay Rum, Country Clothesline, Almond, Spiced Mahogany, Honeysuckle, Lilac Eucalyptus & Mint, Tea Tree & Peppermint It seems the "smellier" the better for my sales. I'm a big unscented fan, tho. When I make for myself most of the time I don't use anything, if I do it's a tiny bit of peppermint.

    Hair conditioning oils

Hey all. I have medium length fine straight hair. I heat style it everyday. Not so much heat from the dryer but the styling apparatuses. The waving wand, curling wand, curling iron, flat iron...etc. I've been using coconut oil on my hair for years. I'll generously apply it before bed...

Not sure if this is gross, but...

I totally agree with what the other posters have said. Just curious....What benefit is the human hair supposed to add to the soap? Does it completely dissolve? I've used tussah silk and although I liked it, I can take it or leave it. I think it could be a great additive to a shampoo bar...

    Thecandlemakersstore.com for CP soap?

A friend that makes candles recently told me about this website. Their fo's look interesting but there is no indication they are cp safe. I emailed the company and asked if they are cp safe and my reply was "yes they are". Meaning ALL of them are. The skeptic in me is hesitant to believe...

Lotsa stuff.... Suggestions & Recipes appreciated

Ok... I ordered some citric acid and made bath fizzles and they promptly gave me a very irritated urinary tract. :( I've made solid lotions, fragrance oil roll ons and clay masks. I bought some e-wax because I'd like to use up some of this stuff but frankly all the mumbo jumbo surrounding...
