Is that to make the base to use in M&P?
edit:
I just read your other posts.........u can tell i'm new at this. Cold processing i'm guessing. Don't mind me...take care
Hi,:problem:
I was wondering how to know when you need to use Vit E for an antioxidant in M&P.
Most recipes I've found don't use it but some do. I was also wondering if you need it if you put sugar in your soap.
Thanks!
Heather
Does the soap come out of the muffin tin? I have enough trouble getting them out of somewhat flexible molds and didn't think I could use something like steel.
I really need a round soap
I finally got to do my first Melt and Pour project. I used ground up oatmeal along with Honey Almond fragrance oil and a goats milk base. The Honey Almond scent is from Hobby Lobby as well. It smells SO good! The celtic mold is from a kit I got for Christmas. Exfoliating soap kit at Hobby Lobby...
I guess I have to find a temp gadget because the melt and pour soap melted all 4 of the molds. What temp should it be so it doesn't melt anything else?
Thanks for your help!

I did my first MP soaps....I have dried soap base on the Pyrex cup and my spatulas and other utensils that I used to make my 4 bars and I can't see myself scrapping the dried soap off any more then I have been.
How do you get that dried soap off. Is putting it in hot water enough? will it...
Overheating soap can turn it brown and get burnt. Do it 30 secs at a time.
#3 - rebatching: I've done a ton of research over the internet and there are different views and techniques. Here is what I plan on doing with bars of soap I bought....http://candleandsoap.about.com/od/soapm ...
Where can i buy an eye dropper to add FO's?
I don't know where to look and everywhere I look is wrong. I really want to start making soap but I need that.
Also......are there measurements on them so I know how much I'm putting in my soap??
Thanks for your help!

Hi,
I saw a video, on Soap Queen, about using Lavender seeds. They showed what the bar looked like after 3 days...brown. How do I know if what I bought is real lavender and real orange peel and will it go bad? A pic is at...
On this website http://www.soap-making-essentials.com/herbal-natural-soap-ingredients.html# there's a table of herbs that has a word on almost every single one listed. For example............."- add to thinly traced soap", "- add ground or whole to soap at trace",
Can anyone tell me what that...
I haven't done it yet...I will within the next couple weeks but I'm reading posts to learn as much as I can. It's more complicated then what it looks like. There are so many different things you can add to a melted batch. I just went to the library and read through 3 books and wrote 10 pages...
I just found out to about the fact that it won't melt. You can use a cheese grater. That's what i'm going to do.
Here's an idea....

I read on a website that you have to have business insurance if you're going to sell soap. Just in case they have a bad reaction to it.
I can see have it if you are doing Cold Process but if I used someone elses base how can I be liable?
Do anyone have insurance?
Thanks for the replies!
