I want to make a syndet shampoo for blondes.Any idea which pigments I could use please?

I use 1 tablespoon per pound of oils. And add the fragrance when the temp is between 150/60 F

I make soap using the hot process method. The soaps always come out great but within a couple of months the fragrance/essential oil is barely noticable. Also what preservatives are best for longer lasting soaps

Ok, thanks for your input. Living in Portugal Olive oil is easy to come by & relatively cheap as it is produced here, but it is all greenish in colour.I will look into trying a few alternatives or perhaps reduce the percentage of OO.

My soap recipe has a high olive oil content, other oils used are coconut oil ,shea butter & castor oil. I like to colour some soaps with Tit. Dioxide plus one other colour but I find the white portion always comes out slightly yellow because of the colour of the olive oil. How can I get round...

I do use shrink wrap for my bar soaps,so yes, I guess use shrink wrap then present them in a celo bag with ribbon.

I have some lovely small 3D soap molds (animals etc..) but need some good ideas for packaging the melt n pour soaps once they´re made. Any thoughts?

I colour mine with chocolate powder or you can use coffee powder mixed with a little bit of hot water. It works a treat.

hot pro.mess Well I decided to make some hot process green tea and Jasmin soaps.I made up lye solution & added green tea leaves.All goes well till I found there was no Jasmin frag left !!.So switched over to making it into Chamomile soap.Got rid of the lye solution as it had gone a yukki dark...

Many thanks,I grow Aloe Vera in my garden & it seems a waste not to use the gel in soap I will use ISG ´s advise. I use the hot process method will this make any difference?

What is the best way to add Aloe Vera to cold processed soap please ?

Nice job.It´s funny I too made my first cupcakes yesterday but I used the wrong nozzle for piping .Yours look much nicer.We live and learn.Good luck they look lovely. Sandie
