    Silk.....

Silk cocoons Tanuki My cocoons are about that size (thumb) but I opened one to see the silk and a dead bug was in it. That was sort of unexpected. I did read that you can buy them with the little critter still in them or not. 50 cocoons is a lot, I'll be ordering some of your soap!!! I bet...

    Silk.....

Silk Thanks Tanuki! You have a nice website! Look China also sent two cocoons (steamed silk cocoon, natural white) with the sample package but I had no idea what they could be used for. How big do you suggest my soap batch be for me to use one of these cocoons.

    Silk.....

Silk differences Look China sent me samples of two different types of silk; Chopped Tussah Silk Sliver, natural Gold and Tussah Silk Noil, carded and bleached. The Sliver is so nice and silky where the Noil is sort of rough. Does it matter in the soap? I have not used it before. Bitter Creek...

I made a Carrot Soap with very cold organic carrot juice (Wild Oats)and added some tiny Cranberry seeds at trace. The Soap came out a very nice carrot color and the...

Where to find Heavy scented Fragrance Oils

It is not that I want the soaps to be heavily scented I need the fragrance oils to be heavily scented so they will be strong enough for some scent in my soaps but perhaps I am not adding enough oil. Some scents I have bought are weak right in the bottle so I can't see how they could make it...
